The iDirect VNO Solution

The inherent flexibility of the iDirect solution allows network operators to resell some of the unused capacity of a hub. For network operators this offers an additional opportunity to maximize their equipment investment by selling blocks of network capacity as “Virtual” Networks. Customers who deploy a Virtual Network solution receive the benefit of operating their own VSAT network without the cost of buying the VSAT hub infrastructure.

Virtual Network Operators (VNOs) rent network capacity from a host network operator (HNO). Capacity is physically isolated from the rest of the network, and can be managed to any specifications the VNO requires, including using private IP addresses. This allows a VNO to offer highly competitive broadband IP service anywhere, without a significant upfront investment.
